PROPOSITION...Ventura's Chief DA Investigator Matt Clark and frequent partner Sheriff's Lt. Becky Di Nardo must protect a beautiful Native American attorney from relentless Mob efforts to stop her from implementing big business gambling on Reservations. Her success will cost the Vegas mob hundreds of millions a year and they are going to do whatever it takes to stop her. Set against the backdrop of the California Native American Gaming Initiatives, Matt and Becky's efforts to protect her are continually threatened by a Mob kingpin who seems to know her whereabouts as soon as she is moved to another 'safe' location. All this amidst kidnappings, murders, a thrilling car chase, and the bloodiest shootout California's famous Highway 101 has ever seen. Then...Matt is forced to deal with the most difficult choice he has faced in his fifteen years in law enforcement.

About the Author

Bob Hoaglund studied Creative writing at UCLA. He sold his first story at twenty-two, then studied law and interned in a local DA's office. He went on to a successful career in labor relations and currently sells Fine Jewelry part time in Thousand Oaks, California. And, of course, writes.
