About the Author

Bill Baldwin is the author of The Helmsman(1985), Galactic Convoy(1987), The Trophy(1990), The Mercenaries(1991), The Defenders(1992), The Siege(1994), and The Defiance(October 1996). He worked as a contract writer for NASA during the Gemini and Apollo programs and is retired from the Xerox Corporation.
