About the Author

Arlene Swirsky lives in Central Massachusetts with her significant other Ray and a huge dog named Bear they recently rescued from a shelter in New York City. She has written another book titled REDISCOVERING MY INNER BITCH, which chronicles her struggle with end stage renal disease and subsequent kidney transplant. She also has covered news for the Worcester Telegram and also written for THE EXCEPTIONAL PARENT magazine and has been published since the mid 60s in various news and magazine venues.
