About the Author

Amanda M. Ellis, Writer in Residence and Professor of English Literature at the Colorado College, is known internationally as a writer and scholar of the Elizabethian Age. Miss Ellis, an early feminist, is the author of many popular and scholarly books and articles. As a teacher she is loved by several generations of "CC" students.
