About the Author

A native Californian, Gene Paré was born in Santa Monica and now lives in Campbell. He has received the Marjorie M. Follendorf, Anne Lillis, and Phelan Awards for poetry and prose, and the Mara Steffey Award for his play, Waiting for Godiva.
