About the Author

Richard Helms is a forensic psychologist and nationally recognized expert on sex crimes. Besides writing, his interests include gourmet cooking, amateur astronomy, making stringed musical instruments, reading, and rooting for his beloved Charlotte Hornets. Helms lives in North Carolina with his wife, Elaine, their two children, and four cats.
