About the Book

After serving with Wellington’s army throughout the campaign in the Peninsula and at Waterloo, a young American enlists in Simon Bolívar’s army of liberation. El Libertador finds that Jack Hardhammer has useful skills and entrusts him with crucial missions that eventually lead to an appointment on Bolívar’s staff. He crosses the Andes with Bolívar on his campaign to free Colombia from Spanish rule, but Jack’s most difficult and personal mission still lies ahead.

About the Author
