El Libertador finds that Jack Hardhammer has useful skills and entrusts him with crucial missions that eventually lead to an appointment on Bolívar’s staff. He crosses the Andes with Bolívar on his campaign to free Colombia from Spanish rule, but Jack’s most difficult and personal mission still lies ahead.
About the Author
Patrick Wilson Gore read history at Oxford, specializing in the military history of the Napoleonic era, but this is his first historical novel. In his youth, he soldiered with the Royal Ulster Rifles (83rd and 86th) and, while researching Bolívar’s Right Hand, traveled extensively in Latin America and Spain. He has written eight other novels and several screenplays.
