Linda Mason Hunter has held numerous editorial positions at newspapers and magazines, including the Des Moines Register, Meredith Corp., and Rondale Press.
She writes and styles photographs for several national magazines, and has authored many books on housing and design, the most recent being Southwest Style: A Home-Lover?s Guide To Architecture and Design (published by Northland Publishing, fall 2000).
She is the founder of Healthy Home Designs and serves on the advisory board of www.greenhome.com. Hunter lives in Des Moines, Iowa in an old Homestead House, with her husband, Robert, and Great Dane, Lucille. Located on a quiet, tree-lined boulevard, it is a healthy house with plenty of sunshine and fresh air, hardwood floors, and plaster walls.
