About the Book

Lorin is a young man who lives in an idyllic world. When he is beset by evil, he is sent on a forbidden adventure across the mountains to the Region by the Sea. There, he confronts the evil and learns not only his own extraordinary capabilities, but the value of loyalty and friendship. Since the tale takes place in a mystical era, there is little use of modern, mundane terms.

Born in The Bronx, New York, Meg McLeod has been a resident of Virginia Beach, VA, since 1994. She is the mother of two and grandmother of four.
