About the Book

Breast Cancer: Death Call or Enlightenment examines the important role fear plays in the initial decisions made when a woman is first confronted with a potential cancer diagnosis. The most intelligent and rational health care decision possible is one that is researched and planned in advance of the cancer diagnosis. Many women are not aware that they have choices of treatments other than breast mastectomy, radiation, and chemotherapy. As the author searched for an alternative cure for cancer, she learned that finding a cure was not the answer she needed-she needed to find healing. She found that healing involved identifying and treating her spiritual imbalances. It is the author's desire that by sharing her experiences, others will gain knowledge, courage, and determination to win their battle with cancer.

About the Author

"Kara Lee Schoonover has five daughters and eleven grandchildren and believes that true happiness is derived from good health, family relationships, and a close relationsip with her source. She lives in the Cascade foothills and enjoys the beauty and comfort derived from living close to nature. After two years of network chiropractic tratments, the distortions are gone from her spine and surronding tissues. Most of the body/mind releases have been emotional in nature, and the biggest jump in the healing process occurred after the author attended a network chiropractic entrainment, also known as a Transformational Gate, which is described in great detail in her forthcoming book, After the Gate. With the removal of the emotional and spiritual issues, the author has moved on to the physical aspect of her being. She is currently working with her trainer in a weight reduction and muscle-strengthening program at a local gym. For the first time in her life she feels confident about changing eating and exercise habits on a permanent basis.
