This is the way it was for Cassandra Dee Orgeron and Helen Boudreaux in the deep south of Louisiana in the early 1970’s. Each had learned about horror at the hand of their father, but only one would rise above it. Their friend, the artist, Kat Breaux, would document their changes in a chilling series of portraits that would earn her fame and fortune, but ultimately break her heart.

This is the story of two incest victims who take very different paths as they try to overcome their family legacy. One path leads to destruction, the other is the road of hope.
