About the Book

It is the year 2004, and the world is changing. In a land of magic and enchantment, a great war is raging. The two most powerful races are colliding, the wizards and the riders.

Wizards are magical human beings that use wands to control their magical powers. The wizards have fought many wars against the riders and have lost most of them. However, they are not a weak race, in fact, they can cast the most difficult of all spells. The riders also can cast magical powers. However, they do not control their magic with wands, they cast powerful spells using hand gestures. So pick up the book and join in on the adventure, as a young boy comes of age, learns the truth of his family, trains to become a wizard, and finally has a final encounter with his greatest enemy!!!

About the Author

Writing has been an important part of my life during the past year. I find the challenge of writing a creative story to be fun, but my favorite part is creating surprise endings. I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when I write, and it makes me feel rewarded when others enjoy my writings. Even though I am only a fifteen year old Midwesterner, I feel that I can create an experience that takes the reader on an adventure.
