About the Book

On a day of no particular significance one scientist announces the scientific reality of miracles. And just like that, "the Day of the Miracle" was born and so, as fate would have it, was Max. This was a distinction he shared with several thousand babies. Yet it seemed to be Max who inherited the spirit of the day. Wherever Max went, the unusual seemed to follow. Then, one dim day, the unusually unfortunate unfolded.

Fate would place Max in the Foster Care of Aunt Miltie among six other Foster children. Auntie's home held a secret. One that was sought by a dangerous mind. Will the improbable become a miracle that untwists the lives of Max and his new friends?

About the Author

While a Fifth Grade teacher I had the chance to read many chapter books aloud to my students. In due course I realized what made a great story and, more importantly, what type of writing styles produced fluid read aloud and easy silent read. I wanted to create a story that my students and my children could enjoy now and remember fondly years later. I am currently an Army officer and live in Germany. I have been to Iraq twice in both a public relations and tactical capacity. I still enjoy children?s literature and have not lost my desire to publish Max.
