About the Author

Veda McCoy is a graduate student at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. She graduated with honors from Bowie State University in Bowie, MD with a degree in English. She has been in the ministry for over 20 years, including time spent as a national recording artist. She is also an ordained elder in the Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America, Inc. In 2004, she and her husband, Elder Marvin E. McCoy, founded Judah Christian Center in Washington, DC and they pastor the work together. She resides in Bowie, Maryland with her husband and two children.
