About the Book

Written over a 10-year span of time, Burning Twilight is a poetic journey of becoming. Crawling out of the tangible world and into the dreamscape of the intangible, building the story of a girl named Twilight upon the backs of totems, archetypes, myth, faeries, and legend.

On a mission to infiltrate safe spaces and delve into shadow, Burning Twilight is a multi-layered journey: a time of day, the bridge from girl to woman, a journey from dark nights of the soul and fear of being alone, of losing love, of being forgotten, of never reaching light again-to balance and finding truth. Having tea with demons while sharing crumpets with angels.

Sensually provocative at one turn, innocent and flirtatiously fluttering for approval at the next-struggles with lovers, religion, and all manner of authority figures reverberate throughout.

The smell of sage, a fire is burning in the forest: Twilight is walking barefoot in tattered ware out of this realm and into the flames. She walks like a proud warrior. She could be a Phoenix, but perhaps she is Persephone. She holds on to the arm of a tattered teddy bear, clinging to the idealism of youth. The wolf walks beside her in the forest. Crows circle overhead.

This is the journey of Twilight. This is your journey. This is the journey of every heart seeking love and longing to know The Truth.

About the Author

Tiffany lives in the US, though her spirit lives in a cottage in the English countryside. She has a very bad habit of falling (in love and down stairs). Read between the lines, and you will find that what she most wants you to know, you will discover for yourself.
