About the Book

Warrior Chosen is the story of a teenaged girl named Tekka. By some cruel twist of fate, Tekka has inherited warrior blood, which means that she is intrinsically skilled in areas such as hand-to-hand combat and piloting. There are thousands of others who also share this trait, and even though Tekka only cares about living out a normal life, she is forced to compete with them to discover who is to be chosen to lead the people of her planet in intergalactic warfare.

About the Author

Takara Cho enjoys watching anime and playing Tekken 4. She started writing because she thought there was a lack of fiction featuring strong female characters who didn't fall into the sharp sterotypes of either being the helpless princess or the completely militant warrior. She is currently working on two other novels, Callous Blade and Dark Destiny.
