About the Book

A widowed woman in her 60s, experiencing a new interest in life after a 50th high school reunion party, finds she is interested in living her life once more. Her friends and her children, and their conflicting or sympathetic attitudes, all influence and motivate "Alice" to renew an active and fulfilling life with "Fred", an old classmate.

About the Author

Sandra Johnson (1938?2005) always loved reading, which grew into the love of the English language and teaching. She dreamed of writing novels and after retiring from teaching she wrote three books: a collection of children?s short stories, and two Christian romance novels: The Awakening and The Second Time Around.
