About the Author

Rebecca Rochelle has the rare distinction of being a descendant of one U.S. president (Tyler) and distant cousin to another (Eisenhower). Ms. Rochelle is a novelist, a nurse, a Mensa member, and the wife of a man who (like the scientist in her story) was previously married for nearly thirty years. Until recently, Rebecca and her husband lived in Maine near the setting of her novel.
