About the Book
Despite Ross Amos Faw's small stature, he was a man with big dreams. Ross was not only a writer; he was a teacher, and an excellent photographer. But most of his dreams concerned the area of love. He fell in love with one of his students. At this time this event was not that uncommon. As soon as she finished school they were married. Very soon several incompatibilities soon developed. The incompatibilities soon resulted in the loss of the two people he loved most in the world. Ross wrote about this loss until the day he died. For 30 years Ross sought solace in his writings. I think his writings reflect his changing moods and his eventual despair. The one love he never lost was the commitment to the journey of life.
About the Author
My fortunes, like my great grandfather, eventually turned to teaching. With the continued support of my family, a special friend and very tolerant professors, I was able to graduate from Radford University in 1988. By the time I became graduate student; several professors were advocating that I submit my writings for publication. After the death of my grandfather, I received several of my great grandfather?s poems. From the very start I could see the parallels in our lives. We both shared the journey of life despite our losses. Prompted by several friends I decided to share those journeys with you. I hope you find those journeys exciting as we have.
