About the Author
Mary Hazzard has written four novels and numerous plays. A Yale Drama graduate, she has received fellowships from the NEA, Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Yaddo, and the MacDowell Colony. Her 1999 novel Family Blood won the Ariadne Fiction Prize. She lives near Boston.
