About the Book

He is a lieutenant of detectives in charge of homicide. He is haunted by a terrible and debilitating secret. A secret that could cost him his career as a police officer or even cost him his life. About the Author

M. G. McTiernan was born October 29, 1940. A recent widower he has five grown children. He is retired following 20 years of service as a Marine Officer and 20 years as the owner of a small business. He lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys traveling and camping in his RV.
