About the Book

This book is about discovering the joy of nature, and the feelings from experiencing life, death, and birth within an extended family and circle of friends. Everyone has a person or pet that touches their lives and inspires reflection on life and love. My Rhymes, My Reasons is a compilation of these experiences. Every reader should be able to connect with at least one passage.

About the Author

Laura?s philosophy of life is ?family, friends, and fun?, specifically in that order. Having lived in the home which she and her husband built 49 years ago, she believes that home is the launching pad for all of these things. Laura?s inspiration comes from her family.

She has been married to the same man for 52 years and as high school sweethearts, they have known each other over 55 years. She has two children who have made her proud, a son Tim and a daughter, Laurie. In addition, she is blessed with grandsons, Philip, II (after his Grandfather), and two ?bonus? grandsons, Nick and Ryan, all of whom bring the modern culture into her life. Who could ask for more?
