About the Author
Keith Halliday is passionate about Yukon history. He was born in the Yukon and raised on stories of the pioneer days. He is a descendent of the Taylors and Drurys, Gold Rush era merchants and fur traders, as well as of Marie Ange Cyr, who moved to the Yukon with Keith’s grandmother Aline in 1917 after her husband died in Montreal. After detours in the diplomatic service in Brussels, study in London and management consulting in Toronto, Keith and his wife Stacy live with their four children in the Yukon, where they intend to stay.
