About the Author

In 1995 Leigh Silver was asked to write for his high school literary magazine. As a result, Leigh discovered a way to tell some of the greatest baseball stories in the world from a whole new point of view. He created ballads of baseball history drawn from his lifelong interest in the game. His inspiration came from research drawn from newspaper accounts of the day, radio transcripts and television coverage. Currently, Leigh resides in New York and is writing a mystery novel.
