About the Book

In the world before the apocalypse, Eric Handsmond was a virtual nobody; he only wanted to go through the motions of living life. At night he worked third shift at a factory that he hated and in the day he went to class at the local community college.

But one night while attending a creative writing competition, his whole world along with the woman he loves and his classmates will be changed forever. It will change because the dead have risen from the grave.

Now they all have to fight for there lives, but they quickly realize that they are not fighting regular zombies. They are fighting dead creatures with an intelligence that is far past brain dead. The dead are organized and can execute plans in which they have devised.

In the world after the apocalypse, Eric Handsmond must rise to fight the undead hordes and he must rise to fight himself, if he wants to survive this and protect the ones he loves. But to rise to the occasion he must first find out who he is inside or fall forever.

About the Author

I?m an English major who has taken a few creative writing classes and have had three poems published in the college magazine. The poems were of a dark nature. I love everything that has to do with the horror genre, because in it there is a chance for new life.
