About the Author
I write from the heart. Ideas come from personal experiences, such as tragedy, loss, happiness, and pain. My dreams and problems with sleep over the years have helped to fuel the fire that is my poetry. I grew up in the high desert of Southern California, in a town called Apple Valley. There?s not a whole lot for a kid to do in the middle of the desert, except play in the dirt. I. E. Riding bikes, building jumps, dirt bikes, and eventually, drinking beer. I started drinking at an early age and it completely took over my life for the next 17 years. I?ve traveled, lived, loved, and drank my way through life, all of which have contributed to depth and emotional content of my poetry. I quit drinking over two years ago and I?ve never been happier. My thoughts are clearer, my relationships are better, and my poems are alive with emotion. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
