About the Book

It happened in a flash. One minute fourteen year old, Wes Allen and his younger brother, Josh were hiking the Ouachita National Forest. The next minute, they were disoriented and lost, dealing with thunderstorms, bears, losing their compass, a cell phone not working, and rain that lasted for days.

But by far the most inspiring and challenging, was meeting a man called Earnest. A crazy man they thought, but still they followed him to his cave. The next morning he disappeared. Later that day as the helicopter arrived to airlift them to safety, Earnest appeared again. This time he showed himself as, his true self. The Angel Of Ouachita

About the Author

I was born and raised in rural Arkansas with a passion for writing that has expanded a lifetime. Soon after high school, I married the love of my live Waymon Westcott. We moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and although I enjoyed a life with words, I did not pursue my dream of becoming an author until years later. Instead, I became a cosmetologist busying myself with that profession, and becoming the best wife and mother, I could be. After our three children grew up, I began my writing career. Waymon and I continue living in Tulsa, Oklahoma close to our children and grandchildren.
