Friedman, Ph.D., professor of psychology and clinical professor of community medicine at the University of California, is one of the foremost authorities and a prime mover in the field of health psychology. The author of over fifty influential scientific articles in prominent journals and a leading text book in health psychology, he currently heads several large health research studies. Dr. Friedman lives in San Diego, California, with his wife and two children.
