An Iranian armor division is on the move, several military officials throughout Europe are kidnapped, and an international plot develops to rid the world of NATO. And only one man stands between preserving the most powerful military defense force on Earth and a renegade Iranian official with ambitions to hold the world hostage.

Lieutenant Anthony "Pizo" Pizano, a young officer stationed with the 82nd Airborne Division in northern Italy and veteran of Desert Storm, witnesses the kidnapping of his commanding officer and suddenly finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy. Now, armed with only his knowledge of the Italian language and battlefield tactics, Pizo must struggle to stay alive while at the same time span the globe to expose the conspiracy within a conspiracy that could violently bring the world to the brink of destruction.

About the Author

Frederick W. Parkins, Jr. was born in North Carolina in 1967, and grew up in northern Italy where he had the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Frederick currently works for the Department of Defense in Dugway, Utah and is a captain in the Utah Army National Guard. He enjoys skiing, weightlifting, and swimming.
