By mere chance, a cowboy herding cattle on a remote section of his ranch stumbles upon a busted strongbox filled with tape recordings and documents. The rancher, curious about the contents of the box, listens to the tapes and becomes the first human to pierce the inner circle of a mysterious group of otherworldly beings called Darksiders. No one knows who or what recorded the bizarre “award” ceremony heard on the tapes. Hosted by a high-ranking Infernal Affairs bureaucrat named Screwover, the Darksiders are apparently celebrating their nefarious deeds and achievements over the past two millennia. As each honoree is called to the podium, it becomes increasingly clear that the Darksiders have used organized religion, political ambition, and capitalist greed to further their evil agenda. The transcript becomes more and more fascinating as Darksider after Darksider describes his award-winning infiltration and dissipation of world leaders from Constantine to George W. Bush.

Who knows how the Darksiders have changed the course of history and the fate of mankind? For example, what is the real reason the U.S. entered WWI? What motivated the U.S. to instigate the Cold War? Why did the Vatican choose to demonize communism? Why did Ronald Reagan flip-flop from aspiring Party member to rabid anti-communist? Why does most of the rest of the world now consider the U.S. Government the cruelest criminal regime in history?

The last compelling segment contains remnants of what the Darksiders call a “Black Paper,” a research report chronicling incidents of religious terrorism throughout the past millennia.

About the Author

For reasons that will become clear when you read this book, the cowboy who found and transcribed The Darksider Chronicles wishes to remain anonymous. He calls himself the Sagebrusher and lives on a cattle ranch somewhere in the western United States.
