About the Book

Beyond All Words is a collection of poetry spanning over a decade of depression. Get a glimpse into the depths of despair and the complexity of a perplexed mind and read my inner thoughts. Perhaps you will find that you are not alone. Perhaps you will understand or be more tolerant of that person in your life who is depressed. Perhaps you will laugh or be entertained by another point-of-view. Perhaps you will use the book for a door stop. Or perhaps to prop up that ever leaning table.

About the Author

Depression is not easy nor fun. I have fought the seemingly endless battle for fourteen years and counting. Perhaps reading my thoughts could help you in your journey or understand the complexity of going through hell daily.

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I began this collection when I was thirteen years old and at the beginning of the downward spiral. I graduated with a Bachelor?s in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Long story as to why, but, I began teaching science in 2003 at my former middle school. I currently am the Earth and Environmental Science teacher at my former high school.
