About the Author

David Grootenhuis was a competitive swimmer for nearly 30 years. His credits include competition at the state, national and international level. He recorded some of his best performances well after most swimmers his age had retired from the sport. For nearly half of his competitive career he trained during lap swimming sessions at local pools. After his retirement from competition, he made the transition to fitness swimmer. His experience sharing the pool with fitness swimmers has prompted the writing of this book.
