About the Book
Life storms happen to all of us-no one is exempt. At one time or another, each of us will be called upon to endure some kind of storm, whether financial, physical, emotional, or mental. When suffering these personal tempests, learning to trust that God is in control is vital to survival.
In I'm in the Midst of the Storm: But Jesus Is in the Boat with Me, author Barbara Middleton shares the storms she and her family have endured, including a heart transplant, breast cancer, and other health-related complications. Even though God did not make the Middleton's problems disappear, He stayed by their side every step of the way, giving them the necessary courage and strength to continue living.[p>
Through an engaging mixture of fact and fiction, Middleton discusses several aspects of dealing with the complications of life. From comparing the life storm to a light spring rain or to a full-fledged hurricane, Middleton delves into the importance of trusting in the Lord. Even though our individual storms may vary greatly, she reveals how imperative it is to stay focused on God and accept His will for our lives.
