Even though God did not make the Middleton's problems disappear, He stayed by their side every step of the way, giving them the necessary courage and strength to continue living.

Through an engaging mixture of fact and fiction, Middleton discusses several aspects of dealing with the complications of life. From comparing the life storm to a light spring rain or to a full-fledged hurricane, Middleton delves into the importance of trusting in the Lord. About the Author

Born in Westlake, Louisiana, Barbara Middleton taught second through eighth grades in George County, Pascagoula, and Mosspoint School Districts for more than twenty-five years. Married for thirty-nine years to Fred, she has three sons and eight grandchildren. Middleton lives in Wiggins, Mississippi.
