About the Author
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Andrew F. Rickis was a West Granby, Connecticut resident for 18 years. After living in the Florida Keys for 22 years, the author and his wife Lucille presently reside on the Treasure Coast in South Florida. They have two children. An avid tennis player, the former printer also enjoys playing chess, growing bonsai plants and travelling the globe gathering material for his writing.
The author has written seven novels! His writing career began at the University of Connecticut, where he won awards for his writing. His other titles are PinBall, Early Autumn, The Magic Oak, Is The Tiger Going Blind?, Shadow of Darkness, and Incident at Patagonia Pass. Andrew is presently writing his eighth novel, a story about a private detective.
The Magic Oak has been endorsed by the Stuttering Foundation and nominated for the John Newbery Medal.
