Aside from working as a paramedic in Indian River County, Florida, Doug Murphy has also served with a Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT), with deployments in Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He now lives in Sebastian, Florida, with his wife, Marcia.
