About the Book

"School" poems represent aspects of students, teachers, and administrators I've known. "Family/Personal" introduces my family in the small Alabama town I grew up in. "Political" contains satires on political life and thought. "Computer" has poems representing various aspects of computer programming and software. "Genealogy and Colonial History" illustrates American colonial history and the search of my family's genealogy. "Nature" illustrates various aspects of Texas Weather. "X-Rated" examines the sexual behavior of sexually-active people. Miscellaneous looks at chess playing and other oddities.

About the Author

As a college teacher I?ve met many interesting students, teachers, and administrators. This exposure has given me many insights into people and events. A poem shows emotion more clearly than prose. As a retiree I now have time for literary endeavors.
