Arlie was born in humble surroundings in 1932 during the depression. One of eleven children. He brings a fresh prospective to his work through the things he experiences in his life. You'll find humor and wisdom in his Poems as he goes through the stories in his Book. From having a Cricket in for breakfast or looking at life through his eyes. Like giving God credit for his work in his Poetry. (my work comes out mighty) as one example. Arlie has been a member of S. P. C. (Songwriters & Poets Critique) in Grove City Ohio for nine years. About the Author

Arlie E. Newberry was born during the depression in Clintwood Virginia in 1932. He has been writing for thirty some years. He has written numerous Songs and Poems. He is currently working on two novels. He lives in Columbus Ohio with his wife and daughter. They have seven children in all.
