About the Author

Ann Birstein is the author of nine books, both fiction and nonfiction. Her shorter work has appeared in the New York Times, Vogue, Mademoiselle, and other publications. Her grants include a Fulbright Fellowship and an NEA. She has taught and lectured widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel.
