About the Author

After thirty years in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools as a teacher, curriculum writer, and principal, the author retired to become a freelance author and a consultant for school improvement. Her publications include a three-book historical fiction series, a guidebook for teachers, a biography of her famous equestrian daughter, and numerous magazine articles.
