About the Book

This book about the picaresque exploits of a young Royal Artillery Officer in Germany in the 'sixties and beyond will appeal to everyone, especially to those who have been associated with any of the Armed Forces at any time. The characters and their adventures will be familiar, even if their real names are disguised, and are guaranteed to raise a chuckle. Even if you never served in BAOR, or didn't know the difference between a BSM and a BC, they will get you sprinting to the WC for a P! This book would be an ideal present for current and ex-servicemen and women, of any age, as well as a more general readership.
