About the Book

I first wrote this book just for me. Then I realized that others, like you, might want it too.

Like me, have you ever acted like a jerk to your wife? And did you do it more than once? And if you haven't, would you like to read about someone who did?

Like the title says-that was me-I was a jerk. A husband jerk. I would now like to qualify though that this book is written for everyone jerks, non-jerks, married people, divorced people, single people, dating people and everyone else with a pulse. Why? It is unlike anything you've ever read before.

I hope that this sometimes funny and often thought-provoking confession will truly entertain you. But, I hope for more than that-I hope that it leads you.

To what? That's for you to find out. Go ahead-eavesdrop on my mistakes. Be my guest, and you'll learn all kinds of embarrassing things about me if that interests you. I could write about all of them, but the book wouldn't be able to fit in your trunk.

But whatever you do, don't enjoy this too much. It might be hazardous to your TV time.

A repentant and insightful divorcee, Mr. Ramsey has been thinking about writing this special book for a long time, and it is now a reality. His conceptual reflections combined with true to life facts about his failures as a husband make this a very unusual book. This is his first.
