About the Book

Woman's Creek, book three of the Western Heart Series, is a collection of two dozen short stories. More men went West than women. When a man became established he wanted a wife and family. These stories are about finding a wife and starting a western family. Other Western Heart books are Marrying Tree Stories and Crossing Niobrara.

About the Author

A land rush lottery created Tripp County, South Dakota. My grandfather was one of the lucky ones. My father was the first settler child born in Tripp County. He told me his parents often talked about the difficulty unmarried neighbors had trying to find wives.
