About the Author
The author is Consultant Pediatrician of Armenian descend: trained in England. She started rhyming poems at age seven, discontinued writing on entering medical school.
After graduation, she married to a surgeon who became a cardiac surgeon. The training period of husband was difficult, as Cardiac Surgery was new specialty. Work was extremely hard to keep By-Pass patients alive.
She started writing just recently (2006). She has written 400 poems during a year, most to be published hopefully in 2007 (Lance My Heart; Delete Depression Type Inspiration; Lilit Is My Angel; Soul Shined from Genocide; Mother?s Hart Reality; Millennium; Life is Plunge and Surge; Laugh to Last; etc.)
The author has published many medical articles in well-known International journals: Lancet: 1984; Archives of Disease in Childhood: 1986; Tropical Pediatrics: 1986; Annals of Genetics (Paris): 1987; Inherited Metabolic Diseases: 1987. In addition, she helped her husband in medical statistics to publish articles in cardiac surgery: (Journal of Cardio-Vascular Surgery: 1987). She has written many health education articles in local newspapers on Asthma, Diarrhea, Vaccination, and Handicapped. She attended medical conferences presenting papers internationally.
