About the Book

Papa Said contains within its pages anecdotes and reflections on the teachings of a loving father and grandfather who some may consider a little old-fashioned. Yet, within Papa's instruction to our children resides the foundation which can help establish healthy homes in today's world. This book includes my reflections and tales of our family's patriarch, the leader and provider who loved us and helped us to find joy and adventure in our days as a growing family. Papa helped us all-his wife and his children-to weather the storms of life through good days and turbulent times. His quiet, subtle way of responding to events in our lives is as appropriate today as it was when Papa was still with us.

About the Author

For over sixty years, Rita Perna has been a witness for the Lord. Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania she has lived in Maryland since 1943. She is a lay speaker and founding member of the Prayer Fellowship of her church, and others in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
