About the Book

It is estimated more than one million people in the US and millions more worldwide have CFS.

In the Shadow of the Eclipse is a collection of poems that explore the heart and soul of the illness. Written by a CFS patient during the most critical years of her experience facing the daily challenges presented by this painful, debilitating and often misunderstood disease, the author vividly describes life with CFS. This is a book for patients, their families, and those in the medical profession who want to understand the mysteries of this ravaging malady. This is an eloquent portrait of an illness, a powerful and moving description of loss and hope.

A portion of the proceeds of this book will be donated for research and for raising awareness of CFS. For more information about CFS, please visit the website of the CFIDS Association of America, Inc. at www.cfids.org.
