About the Book

This is a 'must read' book for all to have. Everyone will be faced with this awesome task one day-facing the death of a love one and preparing their funeral memorial service. This is a big task that has to be dealt with in a short time. This book will give you step by step information on what to do.

Many years ago when I was a young mother with two babies, the minister of my church died suddenly. His wife was devastated. She seemed like she did not know what to do. I immediately sat down and started painting pictures on different sheets of paper and printed information on the sheets, for example, 'People to Call', 'Visitors Sign-In Sheet', 'Sympathy Cards', 'Planning the Funeral', Obituary, etc. When I gave her this small booklet she was so happy and told me it was such a big help to her. This was the beginning of my book.

Usually every time a friend had death in the family I was busy putting this book together. Since I am an artist this job was not so difficult, but as I grew older, more people were dying and I did not have time to paint and put a book together. So when my husband died I really saw a great need for this book to be in print.

I have seen so many families lost, devastated, fighting, angry with each other at the time of the death of a love one. So many do not know what to do. Many were rescued by friends that had to come in and take over. This book gives an easy, friendly step by step directions on what to do in this short stressful period. One will be able to travel through a grief with less stress, mental, emotional and physical tension. IT IS A MUST BOOK FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE.
