About the Author

Matthew Ware Coulter teaches American History at Collin College in Plano, Texas. A baby-boomer, he continually grapples with the history and legacy of his generation as he conveys it to new college freshmen. He enjoys teaching, traveling, playing guitar, and loving his life partner. He has one daughter.
