About the Book

When two veteran detectives of the Prescott Police Department in New York are assigned to track down the perpetrators of a stream of vicious crimes in the city, they follow a trail of destruction leading them to the McCormicks, two young brothers from rural Georgia, who followed the interstate highway north to escape the wrath of the Georgia sheriff on their trail. People claim that Liddy McCormick's dim-witted sons are strange and most likely in-bred-something straight out of the movie Deliverance. But the two boys are more than strange; they are sociopathic killers.

To Detectives Brenaugh and Wrangle, it's obvious that the killers have no intention of willingly stopping their spree. The McCormick brothers must be hunted down before they inevitably return to the road and again elude the vengeance of the law. Until they are caught, no one is safe along the interstate corridor extending from rural Georgia to the blue-collar town of Prescott.
