About the Author

Carla Lavern Parham is a native of Virginia. She has a bachelor?s degree in journalism and is currently pursuing her masters in theology from Regent University. She is plugged in to Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries in Richmond, Virginia.

Carla has published poems in several anthologies and written one recorded gospel song, I Told Jesus. She received the International Poet of Merit Award and three Diamond Homer Trophy awards from the Hollywood Famous Poets Society. In 1995, she was inducted into the Homer Society for International Poets.
