About the Book

"Not Today Buster!" tells the success story of the Florida Attorney General's Seniors vs. Crime Project and its army of Senior Sleuths. Started in 1989, with but four volunteers located in southeast Florida, the Project now boasts over 1,000 Senior Sleuths and can be found active all over the state.

About the Author

Vern Thornton, a retired Broward County (Fl) Chief Deputy Sheriff and former newspaper man is the author of a previous book And Today is Only Monday. He founded Seniors vs. Crime in 1989 at the request of the then Florida Attorney General Bob Butterworth. Thornton and his wife live in Lake Worth, Florida.
